Does anyone know or recomend the best way to remove the exhaust manifold bolts without breaking the studs? I helped a friend switch out his manifold on a 90 eclipse and he snapped 4 of his? I have a 97 so I'm hoping it won't be as hard since his had seven more years to rust and stick. Are there any special techniques? Or is it just hope as you go?

vice grip, you;re gonna ruined the threads but I founded it to be the best way to remove it...or you can try a stud remover from sears, never tried it...too damn expensive...
