Misfire
I have a 2003 Element and the car is misfiring. I checked the code - P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303 and P0304 and then it says "random misfire."
I had the injectors checked out and they were fine. I also changed the spark plugs, replaced two of the ignition coils.
Is this problem related to the top dead crankshaft sensor or camshft sensor or fuel pump?
Thanks.

I am having a similar issue, here's the post I put up on another forum.
I have a 98 Honda Civic EX, it has 230k miles on it. Car has been having some idling issues, it will idle high when I am sitting at a redlight or when I put the car in park. Also, when I'm driving sometimes the car will stay at 2kRPM like it is trying to drive itself.
When I turn the car off it acts like it floods itself because I can smell gas and it will not crank for at least 20 minutes. After I wait 20 mins and try and crank the car it will crank but it does so with a sputter like it is getting to much gas. And if it doesn't crank it smells of gas really bad and won't start for another 20 mins.
Recently I replaced the sparkplugs, distributor cap and sparkplug wires. A friend of mine suggested that all of these issues would be caused from a faulty 02 sensor. We were going to change it on Friday, but just like my car always does it died on the way to work. But this time I waited 20 minutes and the car wouldn't start like it normally does. I left it for 2 days and it still won't start. I had it towed to my house, we didn't get a chance to change the 02 sensor but now my car won't start at all. I don't smell gas anymore. It just turns over with not even a sputter. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I had the codes ran on the car a couple of days ago and I was receiving misfires on all 4 cylinders and an overheat code. Which is why I replaced the sparkplug and wires.
P.S. I am by no means a gear head, I am a computer nerd. But I can learn what I need to. Any suggestions/information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jverse

Its a few days later now and after replacing coil 5 ( not sure if it had anything to do with being coil 5 , it was the one my son found to be dirty and rusty...checked it and it was dead) and the odyssey is running great again. A little history of this van
....2000 year
....399,847 KMs
....replaced timing belt and water pump at 350,000 because I felt guilty not for need
....replaced right front wheel bearing at 350,000 was starting to make a noise
....replaced ignition coil at 398,000
....now on my 3rd battery ..lights get left on a lot
....on third set of tires (have about 20,000kms on them)
Thats my entire repair list since buying it new!

Yea I've been getting the same codes on mine, but more specifically the Misfire for 1&2. I had changed plugs and wires twice already along with the valve cover gasket. Still getting codes. Last week I checked the plugs and two had oil on the bottoms. Seemed to be submersed in oil. Enough to cause a misfire. Cleaned them off and put them back to see. I found that it may be the spark plug o rings found under the rocker assembly. I'm going to see about changing out mine this week.
