Default NO ONE TUNES CROME!?!

Hello,
I am currently building an LS boosted integra. I bought the car already boosted with crome chipped ecu and tuned for 1 bar. However the hg blew and i tore it down and decided to go a different direction. I currenty have

81.5mm wiseco
eagle rods
pnp ls head
KMS valvetrain
Crower 402s
DSM 450cc
stock rail/regulator/fuel pump
crome

What I'm needing to know is a tuner who tunes Crome and does it well in the WV, VA, PA, NC area! I want to speak with the tuner to discuss what fuel setup he has seen work well in the past for 350-400hp numbers.

Why not step it up to another program?

The dealer version of NepTune is only $100 and is much much better.

There maybe a reason why no experienced tuner wants to touch crome.

Spend the extra money & switch to something a good tuner supports.

well I have looked at upgrading to a new platform however all the systems seem to be on the expensive side. If I'm seeing this right the S300 package is 775.00 and the system I already have is 650.00 If crome is crap why is it so much?

Can I get just the s300 ecu cheaper and the tuner would use his cables and software?

Plus I have a step down harness running my B18a1 LS motor so I'm already OBD1..

You don't have to spend $$$$ on a new system.
You can go to an eCtune, Neptune or Hondata dealer & have the car tuned on one of the systems that cost less then $200

Anyone else here run Demon with Neptune? I will have the first tune done right by going to PA and having 93turbo16 dyno tune it

That was the smartest thing you will ever do for your built engine. NEPTUNE FTW! Pick up a Tunerview and be able to watch everything your tuner sees right in your dash. Visit www.hrtuning.com for more info on the tunerview or have 93turbo16 show you how it works.

Why's everyone bashing crome? In my opinion it works just as well as hondata. Like all programs it has its hiccups, but john did a great job putting it together. I think its more preference than anything else. vega why are you an authorized dealer of software you don't support?

John Cui has not been around to support his customers. Crome is dying because of it.

Whats wrong with crome??? I tuned all the way up to 633whp with it no problems... the only thing i could think of is the ignition not being sync.. but that is old school, thats why the ignition fix command is out there. John is a bitch, and a thief... if you need crome pro go through xenocron don't send him your money.

If the guy is a thief and has crappy software, why would you use it at all?

Most decent tuners won't use it because it has problems, and if you are paying them to do a good job, would you want them using it?

I dont tune Crome anymore...but because there are better options out there doesnt mean it doesnt have a place in someone's tool box.

Crome now is 100x better than Hondata then...yet, everyone and their brother pushed it hard when it came out...and for good reason, because it was cheaper than the alternative(s) at the time.

True, John is EXTREMELY hard to get a hold of...but by no means is Crome dead or dying.

Crome is part of my personal roots, just like TurboEdit...and while I will continue to support those looking to learn how to tune themselves with every option possible.

To the OP, you will be extremely happy with John and his service...regardless of the system or systems they tune, you need to be comfortable with your tuner, who should be comfortable with whichever system they choose to tune!
