Problems with GSR swap...
I posted this in the civic forum but thought it would get a few more responses here...
I'm having a problem that I'm hoping can be answered here. I have a 98 Civic Dx. I bought a wrecked 1997 Integra GSR and pulled the motor out of it to put into my civic. I finally got it in and and after doing a ton of research I got all the wiring done. I had some help from a friend who is pretty good at this stuff and has done a few swaps himself. Its my 2nd.
The problem I am having is, the car will idle fine. It seems to be idling a little bit low but I can't actually tell becuase I still have my stock cluster with no tach. (si cluster is on its way) When I give it gas past about 1/4 throttle or maybe even a little bit less it cuts out. It almost seems like it cuts ignition but I'm not sure. I'm not getting any CEL's. I had one before but it was the secondary o2 sensor. It wasn't connected but I've since fixed that and "reset" my ecu.
Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.
