need help with map sensor voltage... for crome
I got a free gm 3 bar from a friend, pn # 12223861. (he is no longer boosted). I replaced my stock honda map with the 3 bar a few nights ago, but can't get it to idle at all. I used boost tools to change it to 3 bar w/ a fresh base map and used previous idle fuel values as before with stock map which idled perfect.
Now starts fine in 14's afr, but as soon as it switches to closed loop it goes lean then dies. The 3 bar was only change.
5.0V reference was right on the money.
koeo was only 1.3V
***EDIT: I'm at ~4300ft elevation would that cause the koeo voltage to be low like i'm reading? and would the atmosphere pressure snesor inside the ecu make up for the difference?
ground is good.
I set map cutoff in crome to zero, still does it.
I don't have a datalog cable or ostridge... just a burn 1, so this is really puzzling me.
So I think my problem is it that im ~.35 volts lower than normal, which may cause it to go into fuel cut maybe, or left most vac colum even though i pull ~17" vac????
I'm trying to see how to properly scale the map to read the right vac/boost that the motor is pulling, instead of it reading a different colum than it needs to be in.
Can I use the custom map option to do this? If so what whould the MBAR readings need to be for a .35V off set of a normal gm 3 bar, or is there a way to custom set koeo voltage???
I read about a crome bug that it freaks when the map goes lower than last colum, but is there a fix for this?

I figured out the idle issue by lower the second and third column vacuum values, so it would read in the correct column.
