HID wiring question
So I have 8k HIDs and on one side, the connection in this plus part with a red wire and a black wire, then plug to another red and black wire. it will turn on sometimes and if it dosent i just pop the hood and wiggle the red wire usually to where it cuts on. Im wondering if i can just get rid of the plug what so ever and just wire the red to red and black to black with some wire caps. or any other suggestions?

all i want to do is get rid of the white plug part and the black plug part and hot wire the red and black wires together just to see if it will still work.
DO NOT DO
just keep the plug
Plugs are for safety to help prevent shorts. Just makes sure the wires are secure. Sounds like you have a loose connection or wire if all you need to do is wiggle it to make it come on.

well thats the problem, i have to wiggle the wires going to the plug so it will work until i hit a bump and it flickers and or cuts off. and i cannot open up the plug and give the wires a better connection so i dont know what to do about it
connectors are safe YES but you can still delete them and solder and heat shrink them and be JUST fine. and besides...you guys are all about losing weight on your cars right? lol take off like 2oz of plastic hahahaha

Are you freaking kidding me?
Since when was a plug a safety device for shorts?
Those devices are called FUSES.
Connectors are used to establish a NON permanent connection between wires.
You can SAFELY remove every connector in your car, house, airplane, cellphone... etc.
To SAFELY hardwire in a car you only need solder and heat shrink tubing along with some skill.
