should i trust buying ebay coilovers to drop my hatch or will they fail in time...?

need some ebay coilover buyers opinions or past experiences!?

They'll drop the car alright, but the ride will be shitty.

 

they feel like ****. but they get the job done

 

they're junk. dont get them. i had them on my old hatch. the spring rates are WWAAAAYYYY to stiff, it rode like crap and if you put them on stock struts, you're just gonna blow them out after the first couple bumps you hit. save your pennies and get decent sset of full coilovers. so, FAIL!

what do yall recommend im running stock struts and i need a drop.with a great ride along with.?

 

skunk2 coilovers with with matching struts price friendly and a ok ride do lowering springs coilovers suck in my oppion

if your gonna run ebay coils koni yellows are the only shocks thats gonna be able to handle the stiff spring rates of them and other shocks and your gonna be bouncing all over the place

 

plus ebay coil sleves the rings break

 

Dont get, there junk you'll hop off the road if u hit a bump mid turn.

 

if you are on the cheap get lowering springs, you should be able it pick up a set for around $100. the coilovers usually have problems and break

 

I actually never had a problem with $50 Ebay slip-over coilovers on stock struts. Rode on them for 2+ years, and felt like stock; no bounces or anything. Guess I got lucky.

 

same money get some real coilover, skunk2, or GC
