turbo help please!!

Default turbo help please!!

i am building my 98 civic d16y8 i am putting a turbo..and i know everyone is gonna say fo back to obd1 but i dont want to..i practically got everything except the management part..this is a dail driver 7 psi so keep that in mind..but i need suggestions on sum management systems..map voltage clamps,apexi systems, aem f i/c systems piggy backs..i need sum suggestions also im on a budget dont really wanna spend alot..i jus need a management system that nothing fancy and expensive..please help i am nood okay so dont comment me that. and also i tried searching i didnt find anything soo dont comment me a big "SEARCH"

Seriously though why not convert to OBD1? It's going to be way cheaper than other forms of management.

if your on a budget like you say obd1 is your answer. why dont you want to convert any particular reasons?

emissions and i jus dont wanna use obd 1..i dont wanna be taking out injectors and ecu and o2s evey yearfor emissions..ok wat if im on a budget but i wont settle for obd1 wats teh next thing i can do..piggybacks?

ok you don't need all that, all you need is a obd-II to obd-I jump harness and an obd-I ecu and if you really wanna stay obd-II I got an edelbrock piggy back for 96-00 civics for sale pm me if interested but yea all you gotta do is get a jump harness and leave everything else alone, and make sure you get a chipped p28 so you could tune it in the future

wat program that is cheap but good to use for tuning..if i go to do emission do i jus put back my stock ecu and it wuld be fine

It's not that simple. Your stock ECU won't be tuned so you could damage your motor. If you want to switch to your stock ECU you will have to use a piggy back or something in order to pass emissions.

im am purchasing an aem fuel/ignition controller..wuld that be a good enough piggy back system..has anyone use it?

The f/ic is one of the best options for obd2 cars for tuning.

stop. dont turbo your car any further until you've learn more about tuning and fuel management. If you take short cuts, you wont have a motor next year to even do an emissions test with.
