Good luck.
something might not be fully connected.. or a vacuum leak somewhere. if u hadnt swapped the wires around then the motor would idle wide open. but im not too sure on what it could be
Just check your wires, ecu, make sure everything is connected right.

I have some sort of the same problem , mine has a b18b1 trubo setup ran fine with my b16 turbo in it but now when you start it for the first 15 seconds you can rev it to red line if you desire but after that it kicks to "limp mode". Throws codes for bad iacv and or bad pcm . I tried different computer and it does the same thing so I'm sure it isn't the ecu . Had this problem once before when I first swapped a ef hatch with an ls drop found a forum saying switch tps wires didn't have a problem since. Iuntil now.
I replaced my tps and map with known good ones webt through my dizzy wiring. And injector wiring. No flaws. Replaced my dizzy twice because it once threw a crank angle sensor code hasn't done it since .
I'm kinda out of ideas besides replacing the iacv , I also noticed when removing the iacv there wass no coolant in thee lines any help is appreciated

if there was no coolant in the lines, most likely the iac burnt out.. check the lines for debris causing it to plug the lines and than change the iac.. i know its like 200 but 200$ > 2600lb paperweight imo.. i hope its something silly that you overlooked.. hope all goes well man..
