im plaing on puttin in a 97 gsr in my 00 ek and basically what needs to be done besides getting si harness, si rear t bracket and post mount n mount. what els do i need to do to make it work?? i hear something about the secondary to the butterfly or something? im not so sure all your inputs will help thanks!

 

depends on what ecu you're gunna use. if you're gunna use a p72 then ya, you need to hook up the IAB (intake air bypass) on the GSR intake manifold. just replace the manifold with a skunk2 manifold and use a p2t (99-00 si) or p73 and you wont have to worry about it

 

you CANNOT use an SI harness. You can use a 96-98 ex harness

 

are u a dumass? my ek is 00 u cannot use a obd2a engine harness on my ob2b chassi.

 

Whoa there, i read the title wrong, i thought the car was 97 and the motor was 00

 

why not use a 99-00 ex harness.. or add wires to your o-g harness..

ok we all know what a ek is i dont have to get specific

 

thing is. i choped up the dx harness cause it was origlly auto. and some plugs fell off so i wanna get a fresh harness.. im pickin up a si harness today
