The whole idea of having a brake booster is so you don't need to use so much foot pressure to stop the car.

If you want to see what it's like to run booster-less, just unplug the large vacuum hose running to your booster. Be sure to plug the barb on the intake manifold.

Then take your car out on a deserted road and see how much force and distance it takes to stop your car then, start off at 10MPH as you'll notice a big difference.

Don't do this on a public road with traffic!

From the new HondaTuning, looks good if you already have a full tuck.

Don't need to plug that one for the testing, just the one on the intake manifold.

If you seriously go through with that test, you'll find out that the faster you go, the longer and longer it'll take you to stop your car with no vacuum booster. by the time you try to stop while going 50mph it'll take you about 500ft+ to stop. Not safe!

Wait. So what's the point to run booster less.

I've heard and read about guys doing this in rally racing, but for a real world daily driving situation I think it would do more harm than good. Especially when those pesky women pull out in front of you chatting on their cell phones that think they're the only person on the road.

That wire tuck won't look that nice when it's all smashed in! Just do something cool with the booster or something. Just don't get rid of it.

Don't follow this advice. Running with the booster unplugged ≠ running the Kens Custom master cylinder. There's a discussion somewhere in the drag racing forum about running that master cylinder setup.

PM Rota92, I believe he ran one at some point.

It looks like miller from NRGTech ran it on his drag car. You could try PMing him to see what his opinion was.

miller's engine bay.

I would like to know how this does as well but I do not want to risk trashing my car especially since it will see 100+mph at the strip. I called him today and he said it just makes the pedal harder which sounds to me like a manual brake which sucks.
Thanks
