hmmm im not to much help on the suspension side, but if your already starting wit the suspension i would stick with it
I would use the $1500 for maintenance work & get the car to perform 100%
Such as replacing/fixing anything that leaks.
CV axles
oil pan gasket
spark plug/wire/cap/rotor
pcv valve
fuel filter
air filter
valve adjustments
timing belt
etc..

I would only do these things if it hasn't been done in a while.... timing belt can be done around 185-200k miles, spark plugs/cap/rotor every 30k miles, etc. Check with your helms manual for maintenance requirements. Honestly, it sounds like you already know what you want to do with your car. Everyone here has their own preference of what they would do with that money. You could start building your motor for NA or Turbo, you could start doing your suspension, you could start doing a number of things...its really up to you
thanks....with 160,XXX miles on my motor, is it best to rebuild my motor then turbo or you think its fine? i have heard of ppl boosting them with over 160,XXX on the motor...
As long as you are interested in suspension and handling I would consider installing a steering quickener. Not very many people use them on their DDs because it involves a bit of fabrication. However its an awesome bang for buck upgrade.
Also, a type R rear sway bar would be a good upgrade as well.
