I am looking for a dyno of a stock D16Y5 in stock configuration from an HX with manual transmission.

Yes, I tried the search for about an hour... help an ol' guy out...

 

You want to know what numbers it will put down?

 

why would you wanna dyno that? should be around 10hp to gocart power.
no but seriously there is a thread on h-t where you can find local tuners and dynos

 

there was a y8 or z6 that made only like 117 and it was built, so im guessing y5 would make like 70-80 whp

 

I'm guessing the OP wants to see how tq/hp is made throughout the rpm range?

 

Yep, I am considering the engine for a lean burn, natural gas fired cogeneration facility, and am looking for the stock HP at 1800 and 3600 RPMs. A curve would be better so we can engineer whether we need speed reduction to the alternator.

Not all applications are 4 wheel speed related! I had a 97 HX that had well over 200,000 miles on it and ran like a top! Compression numbers when I sold it were equal to new service specs. I wish I had gotten the data before I sold the car.

but i have a question can u fit a camshaft from a Honda D16Y8 1.6L SOHC VTEC on a 2000 D16Y5 1.6 sohc vtec
