Default Fuel pump will not shut off.

I am wrapping up my build on my crx, I went to test out my steel braided fuel lines and in line fuel filter to check for leaks and my pump will not shut off. when i turn the key to acc. it should turn on to prime the fuel header then shut off but it just keeps running i cant find any leaks in the system.
P.S. The fuel pump worked fine before .

Have you swapped out for another main relay? Either that or you have a constant key hot power that may have melted to your power wire for your fuel pump.

What did you change on the car during the build?

Yeah i did think of the relay i have another one around here some where i am trying to find.
During the build i did do a wire tuck but i didnt have to cut or extend any of the wires so i dont really think thats it. but any thing is possible. i am hoping it is just the relay. what tells the fuel pump when to shut off? i did remove some stuff like that canister thing and some other smog stuff from the engine bay.

The main relay tells the fuel pump to turn on and off.

ECU gives power to the Main Relay, Main Relay gives the power to the Fuel pump relay which gives power to the pump..

Also how did you manage to do a wire tuck without extending wires? lol Got me curious. PM me

Okay so I put a new main relay in and it still stays on. So I thinking it is a wire thing because when i turned on my blinker it goes in and out and when i turn my brights on the sound dims way down. Could it be the ecu chip.

I am going to test my ECU today. I mean i am sure its a wire thing but its worth a shot. Whats a good way to find out what wire or wires it could be so that i dont have to rip up the great wrap job i did on them.

Okay so i changed out the ecu and same thing it will not shut off.
So i guess it is a wire thing.
I was thinking could the fact that i am only running off of a weak batt. cause the blinker to make it fade in and out because it is draining power?

Sounds like a wiring issue. Nothing to do with a bad battery.

Time to dust off the meter and print off a wiring diagram!
