Default need helping taking ignition off.

i am trying 2 figure out a easy way 2 take off my ignition key.i am changing my steering column nd theres no way i can get a grip off those 2 bolts cause there flat.ne advice would help.

Hmm, I removed mines once awhile back..., what i did was took a flat head screwdriver and a small hammer and nicked the edged of the bolts till it was loose. took me a good 45 mins to an hour to remove it. Becareful about swinging the hammer tho since u hardly have any room, you might accidently hit the front wind shield. Good luck.

They're supposed to be like that for security reasons.... The way to take them off is to get a drill and a 3/16 drillbit or smaller I don't remember.( which ever fits in the center of the bolt). Then you drill straight into the bolt ( the center is made soft ) and once you get through the soft part the drillbit will catch and unscrew itself... Should only take like two min each bolt (4min)...
