can you get a better pic of the mbc from the side? where is the line tee'd into in the right of the pic? are thee any other openings on your wastegate?
they dont even have directions on the website. that sucks

That is WRONG. the one side port on the MBC goes to a boost source(preferrably off the turbo housing) can be off of IM, but not best location. But you need to know which side port its suppoised to go to. the other side port goes to the BOTTOM port on your WG

LOL. You say the pic is wrong then basically explain exactly what was in the picture. I agree he needs to find out which side of the mbc goes to where. Usually there is an arrow that points towards the wg. At this point I say give turbonetics a call and ask for a confirmation.

dont follow the tial link. call turbonetics and see what they say.
im unfamiliar with turbonetics gates. i guess what people are saying is in your first pic the mbc is hooked to the top port, which is incorrect. where is the side port located. take a pic of the openings and the mbc please

Comprehension > you
u guys arent reading. that is not an actual pic from my car. i just have the same MBC as in the pic! i didnt think it was that complicated lol.

he is asking us if he runs one line to the side port, answer - yes. the other side goes to boost source, technically the IM is still a boost source so it SHOULD work (just like you said). the only question should be which side of the MBC goes where.
so i asked if there is a arrow, generally that should point towards the wg. im comprehending just fine and actually trying to help rather than just saying he is wrong. if you read and comprehended then you would see thats not a pic of his car and he runs a tial wg and he hasnt even installed it yet

dude relax, take a minute to look at the OP's pic, he understands to leave the top port open.

.one side of MBC - side port on WG
.other side of MBC - port on comp. side of turbo (or should i run it to the IM)
.leave top port on WG open.
do i need to tee into anything else?

I'm not sure, but that pictured mbc looks like a regulator, therefor it would be used on the top port. THe typical mbc uses the bottom port, however. The best way to check is to test it out. Turn it all the way down, hook it to the bottom port (top empty), and if it starts to overboost - it has to be on the other way. Vac lines tee'd to go to each port, with that MBC in-between the tee and top port.
Honestly, it would be best to email the MFG for instructions. 99% of MBC's used here are the ball-spring-bleed style, which uses only the bottom port.
ok thanks..is it true that ill pick up some spoil time if i get the boost source from the IM rather than the comp. side of the turbo?
Slightly, if your intercooler is restrictive. If that was the case, you'd have a few psi of pressure drop (turbo outlet at 2-3psi when manifold sees 0psi), so your WG would crack open a little later. It won't be enough to be noticable.
this is a link to the EXACT mbc i have.

they call it a air regulator! does this need to be ran differently?

touche...this thread is making my head spin. i realized he had a tial after like the third timr i looked at that pic. and now from the last link it looks like there are 3 ports on the mbc, which just adds more complication. i quit
