Default Man KIRK racing packaging sucks and so do shipping companys errrrrrrrrrrggggggg!!!!

Ok Kirk sent me 2 role bars for my car and my buddys on the 7th and I never got them so I had to track them to find out it was in a local frate company (package was to big for fedx or ups) anyways I go down there to complain and ask why they have not delivered it. So after I complained and showed my frustration to the head hancho he kicks some money off the shipping and I do stress alittle . So I go to pick them up in the docks to find out that the shipping company destroyed them the base plates on the bottome of the main piece were smashed and bent like a **** kind of like when you take your finger and stick it out and then curl it down halh way. They would not stand up at all I was furiouse at this point and refused to pick up. So now i have to fight with both kirk and this shipping company to get two new ones. Man I wanted to instal my Sparco EVO and 5 point harnesses this weekend so bad. Now I have to wait probably anothr 5 weeks

To all those who have kirk role bars or cages have you ever had this prob? Why does kirk ship there bars so cheaply I mean is a role bar with bubble rap going to be invisible **** I would pay and extra 5 bucks for some cardboard protection.

Then to top off my day I get my car back with my 98 ITR ECU so I can finaly take full advatage of the B18C5 to find out that there are two extra wires in my stock harness and one of them is the tack wire but the ETM does not show witch one it is so I have no RPM readings

What a shitty day only good thing that happend is I got my SMSP carsound and Bpipe reducer

I am going to get **** drunk now

Sorry for the rant

CHRIS

Mondays always suck, it's a given. Sorry to hear about your ordeal with the shipping company.

Both Kirks I picked up were just bare lying on a pallet.

The painted one was bubble wrapped.. but nothing was bent.

Depends on the shipping company.

Thats how they are all shipped.. autopower does that as well.. its the shipping company's fault for the bent plates, not Kirk...

mine was only scratched , but a spray paint took care of that. I guess you were unlucky with the shipping company. I probably had the same shipping company as you. Don't worry, it'll work out in the end, i'm sure kirk will keep you happy.

Actually my Kirk Cage was packaged better than any autopower I've ever seen but beyond that, and as you've realized this has nothing to do with Kirk. It's not super easy to bent some of those pieces that's def. a shipping company problem.

Did you tell Kirk to have the shipping company deliver it? Normal practice with something that big is customer pickup, or an extra charge for delivery on top of the shipping costs..

I forget who I used when I had mine shipped, but they put it on a "shelf" (a damned big one) all by itself with nothing on top of it or within 6" of it. The entire warehouse was like that, very impressed with them.

Well I am not blaming kirk it is just I am frustrated that the shipping company mesed them up and then never bothered to call me to make a apointment to deliver them to me. Kirk is on the case so I am not worried they will pobably get them back adn fix the role bars and then sen them out so I a guessing 2 weeks tops but we will see
