Default scammed by flatlander racing

Well i bought ross pistons from flatlander racing cause it was only 359, so I ordered ,now I get my bill you believe they charged me 428.22 shipped to hawaii???
Do you believe tax and shipping costs 69.22 I THINK NOT!!!!!!!
Whats wrong with these companies to me this is a scam as i could have bought these from ebay for 400 bucks and payed only a mere 15 bucks shipping and still saved.

It seems high, but it depends on the sales tax from where you bought it. if it is ~.08% then your total is about $390. Depends on how heavy the package it is about 10lbs. and shipping to Hawaii is expensive and i believe they only do air shipping, so yes the price adds up pretty quickly. shipping a 10 lbs package to Hawaii costs about 40 bucks. which is somewhat similiar to what you paid. I got all these numbers from UPS website. the actually shipping charge will vary, but around the same price. Sorry man

Yeah but the place you bought them from might have had a set price for shipping, or did not account for the Hawaii option, and just took the loss. But flatlander took into account Hawaii and charged accordingly. I hardly think you could call this company a scammer, first you have not really looked into the situation. What has been your expensive shipping to Hawaii from previous experience?

Ends up after calling ups i find out the shipping was actually only 36.00 dollars, so in fact they did scam me and im waiting on a refund which would not have been gotten if i didnt look in to this.
Fact of the matter is in Hawaii we do get scammed by unnapropriate shipping charges.
