Hey guys I need some help. My gf was driving and hit a hard bump and the air bag light came on and is staying on. It is annoying and I want it gone help me honda-tech. BTW i tried resetting the ecu by unplugging the battery(universal honda fix lol) but it didnt work. So please if anyone knows how to reset the blasted thing please come forward. Thanks in advance.

I'd take it to the dealer right away. If the bump was severe enough and bag did not deploy then I'd chalk it up to a malfunction in airbag trigger. My main concern here is that the bag could be primed to deploy. I don't know man, but I wouldn't want my girl to be driving around with an airbag that's either shut off by default or primed and ready to fire.

 

horn still works....she ran over something and it bumped the car hard i just need to know if there is a reset other than paying the dealership 120 just to look at the thing and then whatever the heck else to fix it.
