How much boost can a stock B16A handle
I am boosting my del (b16a1 dohc vtec) with stock internals. How much boost can I run without a intercooler? I think I am going to go with the turbospecialties superior turbo kit. What advice do you have please?
Thanks
Thanks
Please save yourself all the trouble and wasted money to barely make any more hp than you already do. Just buy a kit with intercooler. U are wasting time trying to boost without one.

Not only that, the title to your thread needs to represent what question you are asking in the acual thread. Now when we tell you there is no point in running w/o an intercooler, the next guy who searches (like I'm SURE you did) will not find this thread and get the needed info. Help everyone out and make the title of your future threads acurately represent what is in the thread.
As for your actual question, I would guesstimate 13psi. Thats a complete guess presuming that kit has a typical t3/t4 garrett with a .48 a/r hotside..........I'm sure someone else can guess better than I.
I ran 22 pounds when i had my civic and it held together for a long *** time. I was a running a t-67 low boost at 10 pounds and high boost at 22.
