Default CALI BAR QUESTION

so I have a full 2000 b18b LS swap that was just rebuilt and runs perfect! everything is obd2. SO here's my question. If i put this swap into a obd1 car like a 94-95 teg, or 92-95 hatch ...will i be able to BAR? i will be using a obd1 ecu.

so here's the breakdown... obd2 full swap, into obd1 car with obd1 ECU. will this pass bar? thanks everyone!

You can put that motor in either of those chasis but the ECU won't pass visual
You will need the ECU for the specific year of your motor.
When I got my B18C1 BAR'd they checked my ECU and even cross referenced it.

Yes, you need the ecu that corresponds to your engine.

I didn't think that you could bar a car if you swapped in an older motor. From what i've seen eh motor needs to be newer then the car or at least the same year.

Yes, you have to be fully converted to obd2 in order to bar an obd2 engine into an obd1 car.
