Buddy of mine and I met up this afternoon and I took a few pics of our cars. His is the 1979 Corolla Deluxe wagon while I drive the Civic. Hope you enjoy.

that's what i thought, but i don't think so.. i think it's just missing a little bit of paint..

As far as the "stripes" are concerned, when he got this car (a couple of weeks ago), the previous owners had removed the dealer luggage rack and patched in the holes and put primer on the area to be set for paint.

 

Primer was my second guess. Looks like its in good shape.

Nice. I like the JDM mirror conversion and the rack. Where could I get the beauty rings for the rims? I'm posting my '78 soon.
