Default New AEM CAI filter..

Anyone have the new AEM CAI that came with it. It's supposed to hold up better, and yield 1-3 more hp according to AEM. I am installing mine this week.

Yeah, looks alittle different but I really can't tell if it flows (makes more power) better.

I'd be more interested in the OLD filter that was with the AEM which came with a velocity stack horn.

I thought this new one is no longer new.. cause it's been out for awhile.

Since i only got mine recently i also just had the one thats got AEM on the end, i was actually preferring the K&N one cause they're a more reputable company around here.. plus i never enjoy being the ginea pig.

Too much hassle to remove the fender well, so i don't know how it's doin down there.

Bought my cai a year ago, don't know if it has the new filter or not, but it sounds great when you punch it. I think I paid about $180 for it.

either my stock box with K/N or my DIY icebox , 3" mandrel pipe K/N ru2820 and ducted air from the bumper

I think thats my favorite

I'll sell the AEM for more than I paid for it

I also have an EK box I wanna try with the spoon filter , and possibly NSX box like the realtime guys

I know one thing I dont like that AEM at all , if it stays on my car its only cause I ran out of time before I have to leave for VIR

your going right Ross ?
