Default Torn/Blown CV Boot

Last night I tor my front right cv boot and theres a bunch of gunk all over my axle and maybe my brake(i havnt looked at it in daylight yet). Since it happend on a friday night, I wont be able to get it to the shop til monday. Should I try to wash all the gunk off with a hose or something, or should I just let everything sit til monday when it goes to the shop, and let the guys at the shop deal with it.

I wouldn't do anything to it. Just take it to the shop.

Why is that? If I leave all the gunk on there, could it possible cake to my car or anything?

That's happened to me twice already. What leaks out is that thick grease. That's not going to get on your fenders or anything like that. If it makes you feel better clean it off with some engine degreaser. I never cleaned it when mine came apart. Mine came apart because I had a broken engine mount and it caused my engine to move too much. But I fixed it and it hasn't come apart no more. You should check your motor mounts.
