need help with blow off valve
okay...i took off my tial 50mm blow off valve to clean my pipings and now my blow off valve doesn't stay close when in idle. it opens up and you can hear it pretty loud
it only close when i rev up the car to make that ppsshhh noise and it opens right back up
it only close when i rev up the car to make that ppsshhh noise and it opens right back up
do you want it to stay shut when you let off the gas???? you know that ppsshhh noise is the sound of it opening and not closing right? as long as it shuts when you give it any throttle your fine. just go vvrrrooooomm ppsshhhhh up and down the street to your hearts desire.
no when im on gas it stays open also. it only close when i led off the gas and makes that cool noise and open back up. i've check some of the tial 50mm bov on youtube and every single one of them is close when on idle.
What spring is in the bov? And how much vaccuum are you pulling at idle? My tial is cracked open slightly at idle with the 11lb spring. When under the hood, blip the throttle and see if it closes. If so then you are good to go.

there's no way my bov should stay open and let air get in. this is how my bov should be which is close at idle. if you guys look at my video on top it stays open and not close like this one.
