my daily is dead, code 15 no start! HELP!
Ok, so i did search before i posted this. But noone really had any answers for me. Ive got a 1995 civic cx hatch with a gsr in it. Im having serious problems. Over the past couple weeks ive had a lot of days where the car wont start. So heres my problem. I have a code 15 (ignition output signal). when the car would run, it wouldnt hit vtec and when i tried hitting vtec it would just bounce like it hit redline and the tach would go crazy, like as if it shut off and turned back on. Then one day, it just wouldnt start. Now I've replaced both the coil and control module several times and still no spark. Ive got all the fuel in the world going into the motor. I'm guessing its wire related. Ive replaced the plugs with new ones cuz the wires were old so no issues there. But could there be a short between the blue wire(coil) and the black and yellow wire (ignition switch) thats causing this problem? What does the big blue wire run into on the ecu side of things? please help its my daily and i have to get it running ASAP
Check for battery voltage on the BLK/YEL wire attached to the igniter unit. Also check whether the YEL/GRN wire running between the igniter and ECU has continuity and no short.
The blue wire is for the tach.
The blue wire is for the tach.
