omfg still bogging
okay so i changed my valve seals well my car is still smoking like a son of a btch and boggs like a **** can some one please tell me why it boggs atleast i dont care aboutthe smoke right now thats not eating my gas like the bogging does??please any one
its hard to say without really looking at it and knowing the complete history/symptoms. if it bogs at high speed or under hard acceleration, i would replace the fuel filter first. did you recently run the gas tank empty or near empty? if so, that can stir up the sediment on the bottom of the tank which then travels to the fuel filter.
Is the CEL ON?
I assume by the poor gas mileage that the smoke is black (fuel) rather than blue (oil).
Measure your fuel pressure and check whether a fuel injector(s) is stuck open.
In addition, do you have a thermostat installed? Is the temperature sensor working? Is the ignition timing set to spec? Do you have an exhaust leak around the O2 sensor?
