im not going through dmv for inspection because of the t1r test pipe but i am going through a local shop. i have toda spec a cams tuned with cams gears . i know they are not set at 0,0. i forgot wat its set at.. i also have 310 injectors. all he wants me to do is put my stock ecu back on to pass inspection. do u think this will harm my motor? will it run too rich? i dont want to take my valve cover gasket off to set the cams to 0,0. wat should i do . thanks

 

If you put in the stock ecu, the car MAY run a little rich, but the biggest issue you will have is the lack of a cat. you are going to be sky high on co and trace. it will not harm the car to run a little rich and if the shop said just change out the ecu then do that and run it. good luck....

 

yeah the cat the wont be an issue at this place. just a matter of my car being ok thats all.

 

youll be fine...dont run it hard, dont run it for too long, once the inspection is done, put your tuned ECU back on...
