b20 questions for my Integra
I have a 97 integra with a b20 in it and ls Trany. The Kid i got it from threw in a turbo kit i was wondering which would be better either turboing it or selling the kit and buying a b16 head and just running a b20 vtec. if i turboed it i would just run like 5-7 lbs. THanks

you have a lot to learn... b20 cylinder walls are the weakest of the b series so too much power on stock sleeves can be bad... as far as turbo depending on the size of the turbo that 5-7 lbs will make different power levels... a small turbo will make less power at that 5 lbs than say a bigger turbo which may blow the motor at 5 lbs...

You can run your B20 with a turbo effectively, but most people use the B20 block in conjunction with A GSR/B16/ITR head to make some pretty potent NA combinations. It is possible to get above the 200 plus WHP mark with different pistons, stock rods with ARP rod bolts, cams, and a better valve train. Good luck with whichever you choose!
Ya im new to hondas. Ive only had 2 ohter hondas which one was a 91 prelude lol and the other was a 94 ls integra with a factory ls. I more of a dsm person ive owned 6 of them im just ready for more reliablity. This teg has a Stock b20 in it with 50k and 50k on the ls tranny. has an f1 racing clutch in it. It came with the turbo kit but i didnt wanna blow up the bottem end knowing i need a dd. then One of my friends who is pretty goood with hondas said sell the kit and Buy a b16 head and just do a b20vtec. and i was kinda wondering the power difference and relabilty difference
