Ok so I'm having a problem with my GSR. I'm not quite sure if it's a my head gasket or just a loose valve cover. Well on the header(front side) of my valve cover right underneath I'm having a very very very slow oil leak, so slow that between oil changes I have to replace about 3/4th's a quart cause it leaks out.

It comes out from the front of the valve cover and when the wind from underneath the car comes up hits it up onto my hood right above it. It hasn't gone on for long and I've asked around and always had people tell me that Honda's have a rep for head gaskets slowly wearing out.

I'm gonna be tightening my valve cover tonight and Have some pictures up in a little bit to show you what it looks like, but does this sound like a head gasket problem to you?

Thanks. I'm new to the honda/car thing in general since I'm still fairly young. This is my first real project car and this seems to be my first problem I'm having.

Edit: Here are some pics. They don't show a whole lot since it was pretty much wiped clean like a week and half ago.

And the valve cover. Now in the circled area it seems a little lighter, but that's where the oil is coming from and it matches perfectly with the splatters on the hood aswell.

 

b-series are known for leaking oil around that area. check you vtec valve to see if is leaking oil.

 

Ok will do and I will only need to remove my valve cover to do so?
