1999 Civic LX, rebuilt B16A2 + 5 speed swap, rear disc brakes
1999 Honda Civic LX sedan.
Factory CD player
Power windows, locks.
B16A2 motor and manual transmission swap (from 2000 Civic Si)
Motor was rebuilt in February, has about 2,500 miles on it
207,xxx miles on chassis
This is basically a 4 door Civic Si. The family Si
GOOD
No rust
Rebuilt motor - New OEM oil and water pump, shotpeened PR3 rods with ARP hardware.
Mobil 1 synthetic oil
Apexi WSII muffler
Skunk2 testpipe
Rear disc brake swap
polished header
Tires have 90-95% life left.
Lowered on Neuspeed springs
New OEM LCA bushings and bolts
Yellow Si style fog lights.
2 Mugen style front lips (bought a new one, uninstalled after the first one got scraped up)
Si style grille
K&N drop in filter
OEM Type R shift boot
New poly motor mounts
30-32 MPG
BAD (not so good)
Few dents and scrapes. Most noticable ones on passenger fender and on the hood. Bad mounts caused the motor to slap the underside of the hood. Mounts have been replaced.
Poly mounts - more solid than stock, can feel vibrations in the cabin, not too bad tho.
Rear bumper was replaced but isn't painted
Cruise doesnt work.
A/C isn't installed. Have everything except the compressor mounting bracket.
This is a fun car that is more family oriented. Just looking for something different now.

This is the beat up lip. The new lip isnt painted at all. New lip is now on (pics further down)
