02 Civic with K20A motor...
Well guys. I was reading through the new issue of Honda Tuning and the front page has the 4 door 02 Civic with the RSX Type-S motor. I must say wow it looks bad azz. The swap looks pretty easy from what i seen and read. Hasport says the engine is a direct drop in which is sweet. Hope to see more of these little cars running around soon!

I'm doing the swap for my 01 civic. I have already have all the parts I need except the hasport mounts which arent released yet. Hasport says it should be out by mid dec. I'm getting the swap done at ripp modifications in staten island. There's another guy in texas that already did the swap. The mounts had to be custom fabricated though. It was done at Import builders.

I only know of hasport's k20a2 si. There's probably a couple on ephatch.com that have the same swap done. There's also a guy on 2k1civic.com doing a k20a swap.

honestly if your doing the swap now, your gonna overpay OUT THE *** for everything.
in a year all the prices will be about 15-25% cheaper because it will be more common, whats the k series engine/tranny selling for? 6-7000$?
thats rediclous.

Yeah, it is a very expensive swap. Since its a new engine. I got the engine for 5g on ebay. It came with everything, I needed. Basically the whole front clip. I did have to buy some misc. parts for the swap like: 92 civic p/s resevoir, gsr axles, 90 accord heater hose and 90 accord negative battery cable.
