I have a starting problem on my B18C1 DA9 OBD0..
Thankyou for looking
Now here's tha deal. I bought a DA from some dude for 2000
The body is clean&interior is also clean. It has a B18C1 swap in it.
When I first saw it i saw the check engine on so i asked him what was wrong with it. He said it was the TPS sensor. I checked the computer and it threw code 7, which is the TPS sensor.
I bought the car and it was running fine. The next day i was driving down the street and the car just started deccelarating by itself, forcing me to down shift. I reseted the computer my disconecting the negative terminal. The car started up fine, but the next day i was waiting at a street light and the car just turned of by itself.
I replaced the TPS and adjusted it to .50 which i was told to do. I also tried using a different throtle body but still nothing.
what else can the problem be?
please help me get my baby running
thanksss HT

It seems as if your ECU doesn't know how much gas to inject. Are your vacuums still hooked up like to your map sensor and stuff
Check for spark and fuel. These are always the first things to check for when you're troubleshooting an engine that cranks but will not start.
Make sure to actually pull a plug, hold the ground electrode against some metal, and look for fat blue sparks while a friend cranks the engine for you. Don't get zapped.
I've had too many people tell me "oh it's getting spark" despite the fact that they never actually checked for spark.

Yes, but you'll have to convert to OBD-1.
You need a MAP sensor. You can't have a speed/density fuel injection system without a MAP sensor.
