vtec pressure switch

Post vtec pressure switch

i have a 95 civic dx with a d15b p28 ecu i figured out the cel i was throwing was a 22 i replaced the pressure switch yesterday well lat night and guess what still throwing the the same cel so now whats wrong with the car im stump and i hope someone can help me out with mt problem

the d15b(djm vtec motor) take off the whole selonoid and clean it. and check the wiring

its the jdm motor i took it off cleand it and the filtersw as well and chand the pressure switch and still smae thing thats y im confused

check the ecu vtec pins that in the harness that go into the ecu...i had a pin fall out so thats why i say that

i had pulld the ecu and it looked ok to me when ilook at the pins what am i looking for will b out all the way or out to were its not noticeable ima chek it again in the morning just in case anything else i shoul chek how do i chek wireing. i had vtec bfor tho so i dnt think its wireing hmmmmm

wiring should always be the first thing you check, if you have a multimeter check that you have continuity to the correct pin on the ecu. If you don't have a multimeter...get one or at least one of those lights.

i have the voltage light i put it to the pressure switch wire while the car was on and it dint light up i put it on both wires and got nothing what could it b do i nee a new wire harness for my car

i have a multimeter its not digital and i dont know how to use it i just got it its a cheap one saw it wallmart 10 bucks so i grabed it lol

Don't use a test light for this. Use a multimeter to properly diagnose the problem.

As for the CEL, try resetting your ECU and see if the CEL goes away.

i tryd reseting it by disconecting the neg on the batt and its still on and as for the multimeter i dont know how to use it mine is not the dgital 1 either so yea if u can give me a crash course on how to use the thing that would b alota help ll sorry guys im a total noob at this but id rather do my self then shell out the cash to have it done and i wont pay more then 1oo buks anyway deler or a shop would want 300 or more at leart i think
