B18C1 Swap - No fuel/spark
I put in my OBD2 B18C1 into my 1989 Civic Si. I wired the distributor down to OBD1 and I'm using a P28 ECU, unchipped. I'm also using OBD1 injectors and alternator. I tested the black wire with a yellow stripe going into the distributor and it was getting power. I have no spark and I think no fuel coming out of the injectors but I have fuel in the rail. I thought it was a bad ground so I changed them all. Still not spark or spray. Any suggestions?
Can you hear the fuel pump prime the fuel system, [run for a few sec.] when ign. key is turned to run?
Do you have 12V+ at the injectors, [lead that is the same color on all injectors] when ign. key is in run and start?
If you have power at the black/yellow going to distributor assembly I would pull and test the coil and ICM, check connections to them.
For the fuel, the PGM-FI Main Relay may be the problem, when you turn on the ign. switch to run, [not start] you will/should hear a "click", [actually 2 clicks very close together so sounds like one] it is the injector relay turning on with the fuel pump relay turning on at almost the same instant, you can hear the fuel pump turn on to prime the fuel system, the CEL will be on after a few sec. you will/should hear another "click", the fuel pump will stop and the CEL will go out.
Is all of the above happening, if not you will need to drop the PGM-FI Main Relay and test the wires going to it. 94

Is the resistor box still on the car? Does the check engine light come on at all? It should come on for 2 seconds then go out.If not then the ground at the thermostat housing is not connected.
