Default coolant leak

This is weird. I just did a d16y8 motor swap into my 96 civic cx hb, and while driving I started to smell this coolant sent and started to hear a sizzing noise. I parked the car and started checking for anti freeze leakage under the hood but found none. So i started the car up again and heard nothing. Took it for a test drive and the smell, noise came back, but this time my car was overheating so i knew it had to be something with the coolant. I re-checked everything and still nothing under the hood. So i went and checked inside the car and I noticed a pile of coolant dripping from the center of my dash and right onto my pass. floor. Anyone know what could have caused this? Or how I can fix it?

your heater core. it corrodes. at the firewall 2 hoses go into the heater core check it. id check inside the car too under the dash....meaning you have to take your heater stuff out. i took out my dash and took a sledge hammer to the heater stuff and threw it all away so i cant tell you how to take it out.

yea for sure its a heater core problem
like rick said you gotta take out the dash and remove the heater core,
if you leave it like this (like i did cause i didnt know what was going on), then prepare to have slimy greasy windows from inside the car, frequent refilling of the coolant, and over heating car, and a really disgusting lake of coolant on your pass side. good luck

Nothin else to it. Your heater core is toast. Get yourself a case of beer and be ready to pull your dash apart.

Everyone already told you what it is. You need to pull the dash and remove the blend door box, then disassemble it and change out the heater core. This is the only way you'll get coolant inside the passenger compartment and is the problem you're having. If you need help pulling the dash pick up a Hayne's manual.
