I have a 1994 integra, it has 168k miles and is an auto. I may get punched in the face.....but i want to keep it an auto.

Anyways. What would be the best combination for a newer engine + auto tranny?

I have heard of a an auto b18c1, and auto b16 transmission but actually getting one would be too difficult because they are both rare.


So i'm thinking of the following options:

1) B18c1 + New Ls tranny
2) B16c SiR-II + New Ls tranny


I know getting a b18b1, like i already have in my teg would be cheaper....but i may be able to get a free engine for my birthday, so i might as well get a B18c1 even if it can't live up to its potential with the auto tranny...Right?


Anyways i need a reliable, possibly upgrade in my teg engine wise.

GIVE ME SOME COMBO's that will work with a LS tranny or b20 tranny...or another auto besides H22.
