depends on the brand and the diameter. get a 4-1. a 1 peice deal.
get the 4-1, less likely to have a leak or weak spot in it rather than a 4-2-1

A B16 is a top end motor and 4-1 are normally best for it. Now the best head for a B16A is a Toda unit[4-2-1] (we can argue but the dyno numbers dont lie). SP-Fab has a replica header for $550 shipped.

get the 4-2-1 for the better midrange... B16a is a top end car... So with the larger header your still gonna make some power up top as well

i agree, i've driven all the b-series motors and for a b16 i'd like a little more low-mid ranger power. For example i prefer a 4-1 design for a b18b1...

What are you looking for excatly.??? Do you want more top end to fly down the highway or you want more lowend torque.??? for better response on the off the line and midrange power band.

The 4-2-1 will give you more lowend torque which is better for the the B16 as they lack alot of torque already and you will still have the topend. The 4-1 will give you more power at the topend and no low end torque, its good for highway runs but you likely to get a ticket on the highway...lol....

good luck...

the b16a2 in my opinion I believe that the best solution is 4-1, the bseries are created to run on top without compromise.
