Could it be the map sensor reading the boost causing this? I have the same problem with my JR Super charged B16a2 with a chipped p28 un-tuned till i fix all the problems!
I tried cleaning the IACV and disconnected it, ran it with two wires direct to the battery and it clicked so I know its at least responding. I checked for vacuum leaks all over, checked all my lines, checked my PCV and it has play when i shake it so I assume its still good because its not locked up. I checked my grounds, I'm getting fuel at idle and when the throttle is open.
My boost/vacuum gauge is reading 15psi vacuum at idle which I'm pretty sure is normal and I'm boosting to 6psi like I should be.
I tried using "The Missing Link" http://www.inlinefour.com/missinglink.html and it caused my car to shut off while i was driving and wouldn't let me start the car. I had to remove it so that I can get the car started.
I swapped out my computer with my bro-in-laws computer but his caused my car to run too rich. Its chipped also. The car still shuts off anyway...
I am stumped... No Cels to diagnose... Next step is to replace the IACV and run a check valve at the map sensor to see if that helps... Check the valve clearance and timing also.
If non of this works.. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and take it to the dealer or find someone that works on honda in town and worry about it going missing the next day...
