im not sure if im in the rt forum since im kinda new at this.. but i need to know if the rc injectors i have in my car are saturated or peak&hold..
i did not purchase these so i dnt know..
all i can read off the injector is " rc sl9-440"
so if u know ur injectors plz let me know wat type i have.. i need to know because the car was running like **** and mite need a resistor box for them..

they are saturated, no resistor box needed

 

if you ever need to know in the future check the resistance across the injector with an ohmeter. Around 0-4ohms will be peak and hold and higher around 12ohms are saturated.

 

ok thanx.. well im fukin stuck rt now!!! i thought i needed a resistor box cause my car was runnin like ****..
i start the car wit no issues n when rev it it wouldnt let me rev higher then 45k rpm and when i took it for a drive it would not let me get past 1st gear speeds even when shifted to 2nd n 3rd gear..and when would floor it it would jus boggle horribly..

i thought i would be since i needed a resistor box but i guess since that not my problem idk wat else it could be..
im up for any suggestions..

 

Do you have a chipped ecu that is setup for those injectors?

If not that is your problem.

 

no i didnt know u needed a chip for the saturated 440 Rc injectors.. i bought the ecu stock from a junkyard and the injectors were already wired on the harness when i bought it.. so lets say that my issue where can i get the chip for the ecu to run those injectors right??

well i was jus thinkin that my prob was somewhere n the lines of tunning it correctly..but like i said im up for anything.. how much would it cost to get a chip to run those saturated rc injectors and is it hard to install n ecu myself?
