How to hookup throttle wire in GSR swap
Hey guys, I just finished swaping a GSR into my 93 civic. Im using my Si throttle cable but it either seems to long for it or i just ran it wrongly. On top of the IM there seems to be a threaded hole which i think im missing the braket of. Is this what im missing so i can hook it up right or not? the cable seems kinda long so im not sure about this. Please let me know
most people use the gsr cable and bracket
its way different from eg stuff.
or just rig up something using your old civic bracket and cable

If you have stock GSR intake and TB, get the GSR throttle bracket and cable. The cable comes in from the TB opening side instead of the intake mani side....
you'll b alright...i've been using my stock vx one for about 2 years now and nothing wrong...i just zip tide it to a small piece on the fuel filter so that it doesn't flop around and loop it back to the tb.
you need a GSR throttle cable for correct fitment. You could probably rig something up but it wouldnt give you full capability. a new throttle wire from acura is like 34 bucks
