Having some AC trouble on a '99 Si.

Ok so last week, when I ran the AC, a belt would squeal when I gave the car gas. Now, when I run the AC, no belt squeals, and the air doesn't blow cold.

Any ideas as to what's going on?

Did you look to see if the belt is still there?

 

belt is still there. and no i haven't made ANY adjustments at all.

 

also- is it the belt that's on the alternator that is also attached to the compressor? b/c it's definitely tight enough. BUT there is one that's lower that has a good bit of slack in it.

 

 

you only need the altenator belt. rip everything else out....jus kidn
