Falken Azenis are very inexpensive. Lots of grip for the money.

for daily driving, bridgestone s03 rock. Excellent dry weather grip and pretty good wet traction. But pretty expensive for 16's

on the azenis, will 205/55 rub? or even the 215/45 ok? i'm not riding on stock suspension. these are for 16" too. i'm interested in decent tread wear too and i know azenis have ok tread wear.

if you're going to do some racing and nothing too serious, actually (i'll probably get flamed) the kumho is a good bargain with good tread life. i've actually raced on these and i was very unhappy with their overly mushy sidewalls--but it's great for the street.

but if you're going to do some racing and you want to have fun, i think the azenis would be a better buy. just my opinions... good luck.

The new Kumho Ecsta V700 has a very stiff sidewall. Different from the 712. $110 for 205/50/15 (no rubbing).
