i have a ls/vtec swap in a EJ recently my differentials went out on my b16 tran's so we just swapped to a gsr trans and now it wont go past 3 k i feel as if im losing so much power and we checked to make sure everything was plugged and it was. At this point we're clueless my car was is j-k tuned, my friend suggested that it could be my ecu, he said it could be acting up since it was tuned.... and that doesnt make sense to me so please h-t pimp my ride and help me get past 3k

 

well i think i mite be harness or ur knock sensor my car did the same thing and i got a vtec harness with a knock sensor it made my car go past 3k hope that helps

 

try a different ecu?

 

Do you have a check engine light? if so find it and fix it sounds like your in limp mode which wont go past 3k.

 

there's no check engine light at all. Everything seems to be plugged in correctly, the car just wont go past 3-k i feel a huge power loss, i can barely get up to 25mph with flooring it

 

does the check engine light come on for 3 seconds with key on engine off?

 

no check engine light after then engine is off either....thanks for the suggestion tho
