changed mine last night. Didn't have problems getting it off, but I could see where that would happen since the old brake fluid that was leaking make a small rusty mess. Be sure to bench bleed that thing before you put it on. I made that mistake and had to take it back off.

lol well i got mine fixed thank fuc*** god so nice to have brakes again.. yeah i CUT the conner off with a hack saw worked awsome so much rust holding it on after that was easy job..... but now my next question is do i half to take off the exhaust mainfold when changin the oil pangasket????? plz let me know asap thanks plan on trying this 2mmrow she leaks oil kinda bad from the pan...
PS: You may want to spray some PB Blaster on those exhaust bolts ahead of time, so it can soak in. Sounds like you have a lot of rust.

yeah im putting a new pan on also but the body on the car is not rusted at all but for some reason the hood is rotted and under the hood has alot of rust idk how or why but thats the way i bought it so ima just replace parts as they brake ect, but yeah ima pb blast it 2mmrow all day every hr or so that way when i pull the exhuast off its a lil easyer thanks for the advice.. il udate and let u know how i make out thanks....
Yes, I advise you to take the exhaust pipe off. The pan has to come down quite a bit before you can remove it, so the pipe is definitely in the way. Just a tip here.... Clean the pan gasket surface off real good, then use Hondabond (gasket sealant) to hold the gasket to the pan before trying to put it back on the engine. Good luck, and have fun.
