okay question .ive had an a/f gauge and it tapped into the primary 02 sensor wire . long store gauges got stolen putting in new one . i dont want to run that wire all the way under the car to the 02 sensor is there somewhere closer near the ecu i can tap into ?or is the sensor itself the best bet?
it depends what obd you are, but for a civic they are:
OBD1: Large solid white wire at pin D14 on the ecu
OBD2: large Solid white wire at pin D7 on the ecu
OBD1: Large solid white wire at pin D14 on the ecu
OBD2: large Solid white wire at pin D7 on the ecu
You can tap the signal at the ECU (which is behind the kick panel on the passenger's side). Of course, getting a wideband is the best way to measure air/fuel ratio.
