Default 99-00 front end conversion?!!

I currently have the 96-98 front end and want to do the 99-00 conversion. What do I need to do with the front bumper in order to have it fit correctly. I know that the 99-00 front end is slightly skinnier then the 96-98 reinforcement bar. I will be keeping my 96-98 reinforcement bar, but will have the 99-00 front end..
What do I have to do, to have everything sitting correctly?!!

On the back of the bumper cover next to the grill insert on both sides, just notch it a bit so it slides past the radiator support. The reinforcement bar will fit fine, it's just a little part of the bumper cover that catches the rad.support. fit it, and you will see what i'm talking about.

what that guy said ^^^. Pretty much, take out the hood, fenders, headlights, bumper from your stock front end. Install hood, headlights fenders, and when time comes to put on the bumper, cut a notch on the bumper so that it'll clear both sides of the support. VERY straight forward.

Instead of cutting the bumper, mark the 2 tabs that stick out and cut them a little narrower then redrill the clip holes. No need to cut slots on the bumper that will be visible....

Is it possible to make the 99-00 bumper fit on the 96-98 cars correctly? I know that the headlights, hood, fenders, and grille are different too, but I wasn't sure if you could notch the bumper to fit. Does anyone have pictures?

Do you mean make the bumper fit without using the headlights, hood, fenders, or grille? If so, I don't think that would work out so well.

i've seen somewhere where a dude cut both bumpers and molded them together...didn't look too bad! keep the 96-98 front...the 99 front is played out...keep it original

You're going to buy fenders, bumper, grille, headlights, and of course you will have to paint these pieces if you don't want to have a tri-colored car for what? You prolly got a single cam and you're going to focus on this and spend close to 800+- depending on the paint job? It's your money just saying this is why people laugh at the honda community.
