my ej1 has no dash lights. its got some aftermarket indiglo guages, and after pulling the dash apart, there are 2 wires going to each guage(tach, temp, fuel, speed) which all plug up to a amplifier. also, there is a red, red/black, and black, the red/black, and black that should be connected to the dimmer switch is now ran to the amplifier.

so my question, if i got a stock cluster. could i do away with that weird setup, and just re connect my dimmer switch?

anyone else have any experience with something like this?
