i was thinking about picking up a a2 off of my local forum..the guy says that you need another transmission case and new second gear..how much would this be if i was to buy it? he wants 1500 for the motor and trans, shifter cables and box, also the prb and prc ecu..the motor also needs the serpintine belt tensioner and water pump..is this worth it?

 

if i were you id try posting this in the Acura RSX DC5 & Honda Civic EP3 forum but im sure theres help here sounds legit but it might be cheaper just to get another tranny and use that 1 for parts considering it needs a case

yea its deffinetly worth it.

as for the tranny people are selling cases on the net. or you can just pick up a different tranny.
my biggest question is why does it need a new 2nd gear.? bad car wreck?
