Default Turn signals blinking too quickly

with running lights on: short quick blinks (hard to see)
without running lights on: short fast blinks (still hard to see)

The previous owner of my car had halo's in his lights so he wired those through the running lights' wiring.

To no surprise he twisted the wires together and used electrical tape to hold them.

Over the years each connection has gone, one by one.

So, the other day I went in and soldered every connection on the damn harness (6 total, 3 wires for each bulb).

The running lights function fine, but the turn signals act as said above.

I used flux to clean all the wires off really well, and nothing anywhere else on the harness is tapping into the turn signals' wiring.

It's a 99 lx, if that could have anything to do with it. Thanks.

They're wired correctly, I've tried every possible variation..and I know the lights are normal because they worked fine until I got rid of the halos.

btw I know a guy who could give me a brand new wiring harness all around..installed for $150...I'm starting to think that's my best bet.

yeah it did...until a connection came loose. to be honest with you, it's been so long that they have been perfect that I cant remember how many different attempts i tried to get them working..Do you know if each side is independent? Because for a time it was only one side, now it's both. Since I soldered everything and did a good job I'm perplexed as to why both are f'ed up now.
